Guide
In Klausi, a task is the starting point for everything: time tracking, project planning, and collaboration. This guide shows you step by step how to create your first task.
Click on "Tasks" in the left navigation. You'll land on your personal task list – here you can see all open and completed tasks at a glance.
Click the "+ New Task" button in the top right. A form will open where you can enter the title, description, and other details.
Give your task a clear, descriptive title. For example: "Create proposal for Project XY" or "Prepare client presentation". A good title helps you find the task instantly later.
Optionally, add a description. Use it for context, checklists, or notes. Tip: You can also dictate your notes by voice and have AI optimize them.
Assign the task to a project so your time and costs are attributed correctly later. If you don't have a project yet, you can create one directly in the dropdown.
Click "Save" – your task will appear in the list immediately. From here you can edit it anytime, link it to the timer, or mark it as done.
Create your first task now and start being productive.
