Use Klausi on desktop and mobile
Use Klausi in your browser, check the Mac download or set up quick access through the Chrome extension.
On this page
- You need a Klausi account to access your work data.
- The Mac download requires a compatible Apple silicon Mac. Check the system requirements on the download page.
Choose how to access Klausi
Open Klausi in your browser without installing a desktop app. A download page is available for supported Macs. The Chrome extension provides additional access to timers and tasks; it does not replace every area of the app.
Features are not identical on every device. The Recordings menu item is tied to the directly downloaded Mac app. The existence of mobile layouts does not mean a native phone app is available.
Install the Mac app
- Open the download page and check the Apple silicon and displayed macOS requirements.
- If “Download for Mac” is available, download the offered DMG file. There is no active download while the release is being checked or prepared.
- Open the DMG file and drag Klausi into your Applications folder.
- Open Klausi and sign in with your existing account. Check that you are working in the intended workspace.
Use the release offered on the download page. This guide does not specify a version or promise a Windows or Intel Mac download.
Work in your phone browser
- Open Klausi in your phone browser and sign in.
- Open the main navigation using the button at the top of the page, then choose the relevant main area.
- Use “More” for Settings and “Customize menu”. To change views within an area, use its own view selector.
The mobile layout differs from desktop. A desktop sidebar that is not visible does not mean your content is missing.
Connect the Chrome extension
- Open the Chrome extension product page and choose “Add to Chrome”. The link opens the Chrome Web Store.
- Review the information there and install the extension if it is offered for your browser.
- Open the Klausi extension. Its sign-in form currently uses German labels: enter your account email in “E-Mail”, your password in “Passwort”, then choose “Anmelden” to sign in.
- After signing in, check the available tasks and timer functions. Open Klausi itself for other work areas.
The extension has its own sign-in form. Being signed in to Klausi in your browser does not automatically sign you in there.
If downloads, sign-in or features are unavailable
- Download inactive: read the status on the download page and use the browser for now. Do not bypass the release check with guessed file links.
- Unexpected content: check your account and workspace before creating records again.
- Feature missing: check your device, visible menu items and displayed access requirements.
- Extension sign-in fails: check the error message and your normal account access. Do not share credentials with support.
