No. Meeting recording is available exclusively in the Klausi desktop app. It captures microphone and system audio on your Mac.
How does the meeting end up in the right project?
Before starting, choose a client and project as the storage location. Klausi assigns the meeting note there and adds the transcript automatically. You do not need to copy it into your project afterwards.
Can I save a recording without a project?
Yes. You can keep the meeting note private or assign it only to a client.
Is my screen recorded too?
No. Klausi records microphone and system audio. It does not capture screen images.
Does everyone involved need to consent?
Yes. Before every recording, you confirm the participants’ consent. Klausi also needs the required macOS audio permissions and permission for AI processing.
Can Klausi summarise decisions and next steps?
After the final transcript, with AI consent and available quota, Klausi can generate a summary, topics, decisions and next steps. These are suggestions. No tasks are created automatically from them.
What are the requirements?
You need the Klausi desktop app for Mac, macOS 14.2 or later for system audio, recording access for your workspace and available recording quota. The app shows permissions and quota before you start.
What happens to my own notes?
You can add your own notes to the conversation. Klausi keeps your additions separate from the automatically generated transcript area. Storage and retention conditions are available in recording settings.
