You take care of the talk. Klausi takes care of the captions.

Captions, setup, projector, cost — four building blocks between stage and audience.

  1. 01Live captions

    You speak. Everyone reads along.

Klausi transcribes your speech live and translates in real time — viewers switch between original and translation. Try it on the right.

Every event has a public link and a QR code. Viewers need no app and no account — no matter how many.

    3. 3

      Just speak

Klausi transcribes live and translates in real time. Viewers read along on their phones — or everyone together on the projector.

Frequent questions

Questions about live translation.

What does live translation cost?

It is decoupled from your plan: Free and Pro both get 3 free minutes per month. Beyond that you buy minute packs — 60 minutes for €9, 120 for €15, 300 for €30. Purchased minutes do not expire.

Which languages are supported?

Thirteen: German, English, Turkish, Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Ukrainian, Romanian, Greek, and Arabic. You pick one target language per session; viewers switch between original and translation.

Do viewers need an app or an account?

No. Viewers open the event link or scan the QR code — that is it. The number of people reading along is not limited.

Is the audio recorded?

No. The audio is processed live in the EU and not stored. Only the text history is kept — you can copy it, download it as .txt, or delete it entirely.

How do I get the captions on the big screen?

Every event has its own projector view under /beamer: the current sentence large, history below, three themes and three font sizes. Just open the URL on the projector machine.

How reliable is the translation with dialect or technical terms?

Recognition runs automatically, and quality depends on audio quality and pronunciation. Clearly spoken standard German works best; heavy dialect, mumbling, or lots of technical terms can cause errors. It is a solid live aid, but not a guarantee like a human interpreter.

What do I need technically — does it work on poor Wi-Fi?

At the lectern you need a microphone, a browser, and a stable internet connection. On weak Wi-Fi the translation can stutter. Your audience only needs a phone with internet and the QR code — no app, no account.

Can I export the transcript as SRT?

You can copy the history or download it as a .txt file. There is no SRT/VTT export for video editing.
